Picture the scene: the wind howls, snow and ice fill the air in a tempestuous torrent. All at once a blindingly bright light streaks out of the roiling sky, with an ear rending squeal, cut short suddenly as the burning object crashes into planet Earth, churning up snow and soil alike as it gouges a trench across the landscape. Smouldering and steaming, the extraterrestrial craft is discovered by a young couple, the only inhabitants of this remote region. Inside the machine, they discover what seems to be… a child! Then and there, in the midst of the blizzard, they resolved to raise him as their own.
Raised by humans, Calum Carlyle grew up in the Orkney isles and has since then traveled the world righting wrongs, upholding truth, justice and freedom and occasionally playing some music and singing some songs.
